Premier Parking is targeting a summer completion date for rehabilitation work on its White Front garage located on Second Avenue.

Ryan Chapman, president of the downtown Nashville-based company, said the garage is undergoing extensive concrete restoration and will receive new signage, LED lighting, state-of-the-art payment technology, painting and striping.

The work, which began in January, carries an approximately $1 million price tag. Built in 1958 and recognized for its metal railings (as opposed to the more commonly used concrete), the parking structure is located at 205 Second Ave. N. Premier Parking, which is also updating its McKendree parking garage in downtown, is an owner of White Front Garage Partners, LLC. That entity owns the Second Avenue garage.

“Premier Parking is excited to undertake this renovation of a strategically located parking garage in the heart of Nashville’s Second Avenue entertainment district,” said Chapman (pictured). “We are [pleased] to restore the White Front garage to its former glory. Chapman said the garage will be closed during portions of the concrete restoration.

Premier Parking owns, manages or leases more than 100 parking facilities located in six markets.
