Each year, the Nashville Business Journal honors local CEOs who use their ability to inspire those around them. The annual list of Most Admired CEOs is assembled by the NBJ through nominations from the public. All initial nominees vote within their own category, helping NBJ determine the nominees who are most respected by their community peers. Among this year’s list of forty Most Admired CEOs is Premier Parking CEO, Ryan Hunt, representing the category of Private Companies with 500+ employees.
Ryan Hunt began his career with Premier Parking as an Account Specialist in 2006, a time when Premier managed only 5 properties in downtown Nashville. Throughout his fourteen years with the company, he climbed the ranks, serving roles of Regional Vice President, Vice President, and Chief Operating Officer, eventually becoming CEO in January 2019. During his career, Hunt has served a vital role in growing the company to its current state of managing over 550 properties in more than 50 cities across the United States. As CEO, he has delivered to the company more structure, added key leadership positions, and spearheaded multiple acquisitions. Ryan Hunt also provides inspiration outside of the workplace through motivational speaking engagements and routine involvement in helping people affected by substance abuse. Hunt will be recognized alongside the rest of this year’s winners in a virtual ceremony on December 8th.
