Nashville’s Midtown neighborhood just gained an exciting new resident, the Kimpton Aertson Hotel!
Today we celebrated the official opening of the Kimpton Aertson Hotel – a one-of-a-kind concept displaying an industrial chic design, filled with unique details at every turn. The Kimpton Aertson Hotel has 180 guestrooms and suites, a gorgeous 4,000-square foot spa, and an eighth floor outdoor living room with swimming pools and cabanas. The hotel is also home to Henley, a modern American brasserie led by James Beard award winning chef, RJ Cooper.
The name Aertson pays homage to Jan Aertson, a Dutch immigrant whose descendant Cornelius Vanderbilt lifted the family legacy to legendary renown. In the year 1650, Jan Aertson emigrated from the Netherlands to America. To honor his home village, Jan changed his surname to “Vanderbilt,” Dutch for “of the Bilt.” 200 years later, railroad tycoon Cornelius Vanderbilt, Jan’s great-great grandson, donated $1 million to establish Vanderbilt University, a landmark that symbolizes the spirit of its founder’s family.
Premier Parking’s management team worked closely with the Aertson development team throughout various phases of the mixed-use project located at 2021 Broadway. Our company is honored to have our top-notch Premier valet team chosen for the task of ensuring that the first and last impressions of the guests and visitors of the impressive Kimpton Aertson Hotel are nothing short of incredible.
