Ryan Chapman

Executive Chairman

Ryan began his career with Premier Parking in November of 2003 as a full time line employee, and at the time, also in full time pursuit of the MBA he holds today. He was immediately captivated with the parking industry, and his financial and visionary contributions were passionately embraced by Premier’s founder, Tony Giarratana. In 2008, following a period of field operations and strategic promotions, Ryan became CEO of Premier Parking. Today, in addition to his role as Executive Chairman, Ryan is also the co-owner of Premier Parking along with River Associates and employee shareholders.

Ryan Chapman was responsible for transforming the company from one parking lot in Nashville to one of the most respected, fastest-growing parking management companies in the United States. The breadth of the organization and its expansive scope of services enables Premier to provide solutions for surface parking lots, commercial garages, office buildings, special events, sports & entertainment venues, mixed-use buildings, residential buildings, retail buildings, hotels, healthcare facilities, hotel and valet operations. Ryan ignited the growth of the company to its current portfolio of hundreds of parking assets in over 40 U.S. cities. Simultaneously, he created a culture within the organization that has earned recognition as a “winner” and a “finalist” of “Best Places to Work” and “Small Business Awards” in Nashville. Ryan is skilled in all aspects of parking, earning respect both locally – within the Nashville business community, and nationally – as a parking industry expert and game-changer.

Ryan is a recipient of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s “30 Under 30” awards. Additionally, he is a member of the Phoenix Club, Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), Urban Land Institute, Green Parking Council, and the National Parking Association. He was named one of the inaugural “Top 40 Under 40” leaders in the parking industry in 2015 by the National Parking Association.

Ryan resides in Nashville, TN with his wife, Betsy, and their two children. He is a contributor and volunteer to organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club of America, Men of Valor, and the American Heart Association, and is an active board member of the Edna Adan Hospital Foundation Board of Directors, ServisFirst Bank Tennessee Board of Directors, and is the Tennessee State Chair for Young Presidents’ Organization.
