With a wide breadth of hospitality experience and intuitive management skills, James Timmons, Regional Vice President of the Greater Houston market, has led the South Texas region of Premier to new heights since first joining the Premier team in the spring of 2016.
After graduating from The University of Texas at San Antonio, James worked in the parking and hospitality industry in San Antonio and Austin, Texas. James managed the parking operations for upscale hotels and restaurants, which allowed him the opportunity to start cultivating his client and customer relation skills - a tool that would prove extremely valuable in the years ahead. However, James’s expertise in the world of operations management is just one of the reasons James has had a successful career in parking and hospitality.
Perhaps James’s most influential quality is his ability to build and maintain a solid team atmosphere that focuses on productivity and acceptance. James continuously shows up for his team and goes above and beyond to help every employee on every level. A true servant leader, James thinks beyond himself to put the needs of his team, the customer, and the company first.
In the ever-changing landscape of parking operations, James’ ability to solve problems efficiently and quickly has allowed him to overcome a variety of different challenges throughout his career. In his role as Regional Vice President, James works closely with all of Premier’s different facets, including The Woman’s Hospital of Texas, Premier’s largest healthcare contract to date, in Houston, Texas. The management of this portfolio requires keen insights, proper staffing allocations, the ability to juggle numerous services at once, and so many other little things that must be done for a successful operation. James’s does all of these things and more, proving just how valuable he is to the Houston market, as well as to Premier as a whole.
James lives in Houston with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys ANY experience that involves being out in nature with his family and friends having a great time!
