Deanna Lazarus is Premier Parking’s Vice President of Human Resources and has been with the company since 2018. Deanna began her journey at Premier as the Director of Talent Acquisition where she oversaw the screening, recruiting, and interviewing processes that attracted top talent for Premier’s markets across the United States. Her strategic leadership style, quick thinking, and people skills are all factors in her success. During her time as Director of Talent Acquisition, she was able to cut outside recruiting costs by 50% and standardize the recruiting process throughout the company. Even before beginning at Premier, Deanna had success in HR and Talent Acquisition roles at a sizeable parking company. The lessons she learned throughout her career have impacted her, challenged her, and made her more than qualified to serve as Vice President of Human Resources at Premier Parking.
Deanna’s education at the University of Baltimore, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Corporate Communication, laid the groundwork for the rest of her career. Deanna’s ability to connect and effectively communicate with every single member of the Premier team is one of her most valuable skills. Her focus has always been to create a safe, productive work environment for employees and candidates alike. Within the HR department, Deanna works tirelessly to create a seamless team environment that benefits not only the HR department, but the company as a whole.
Never one to shy away from a challenge, Deanna is the first to admit she doesn’t have all the answers, but it’s her modesty, openness to learn, and infectious presence that have allowed her to be the successful leader she is today. Her role is critical in creating and maintain a healthy company culture, and it’s easy to see how her success has impacted not just her department, but every department throughout the company.
